Preprints
Papers for inclusion in the CD-ROM Preprints should be prepared PREFERABLY in LaTeX by using the
Springer style files
(please use the LaTeX version and the Proceedings link). The use of Word is highly discouraged:
last resort, the Springer
instructions should be used. Please, see also the additional
detailed instructions for the final page layout.
Papers should be sent by e-mail to the Publication Chair:

by 18 JUNE 2002 at the very latest.
When sending the papers, please include the following files:
- the source code (text) in TEX (DOC) format
- all figures, preferably in EPS format
- the whole paper in PDF format at 600dpi
- a digest consisting of about four items describing the essence of the paper, together with a significant photo
- the link to a site where a video accompanying the paper could be retrieved

All the accepted (and presented) papers will be collected in the volume Experimental Robotics VIII edited
by Bruno Siciliano and Paolo Dario, to
be published after the symposium in the newly established Advanced Robotics Series by
Springer-Verlag. Please look at the instructions.
